"I wrote BROKEN KINGS 2 over a period of one week, in July of 2021. That's close to 2 years from when you're going to finally hear the project.
At that time, Covid hysteria was in full effect, and the powers that be (especially in a place like Nazi York) had all collectively lost their minds.

This is a very dark, paranoid, dystopian type of record. The beats are out of this world, even for Reck. By this time, we were a decade in working together, so he knew exactly the scene I was trying to set.

Tracks like "Devils Bidding", "The Great Reset" & "Terrorist Joseph" do a great job of capturing the mood of the entire country at the time. While songs like "Live It Up" & "Sun Still Shines" do their best to convey a sense of honest hope for the future.

It is important to embrace and remember the art created during this dark period of time,
We must take from it what we can, learn from it...to make sure that we never repeat the same, tragic mistakes again...."
